New Jersey Senator Cory Booker visited Modern Meadow during his Summer Road Trip to learn more about INNOVERA™ and the work we are doing for a more sustainable future.

Senator Cory Booker visited Modern Meadow last week as part of his Jersey Summer Road Trip focusing on his efforts to secure congressionally directed funding for critical projects.

As a devout vegan, he was extremely engaged and excited about the work we do. I was so proud that our teams got to show off all aspects of INNOVERA™. He cited in an Instagram post:

"The fun continued when we stopped by Modern Meadow and saw firsthand their innovation in sustainable vegan materials. Their company is nothing short of revolutionary as major fashion brands, automotive companies and footwear brands are incorporating or looking to incorporate their plant-based leather into their products. This will go so far in reducing greenhouse gases, saving water, and even reducing animal cruelty."

His visit highlights to the New Jersey community that we are shaping the future of sustainable, next-gen materials in a meaningful way. We are excited to continue to make our state proud.
